The East Bakersfield Sheriff’s Activities League is located at the East Bakersfield Substation office at 1700 Flower Street. Sgt. Otis Whinery oversees the East Bakersfield Substation SAL Program, along with SAL Director, Senior Deputy Derek Brannan.  For information on the East Bakersfield SAL programs, contact Sr. Deputy Brannan at (661) 868-1503.

The EB SAL is outfitted with a playground, basketball hoops, a wrestling room, a computer lab, and an activities room. Deputies and SAL Volunteers organize sports activities, including wrestling, dodgeball, football, chess, and basketball.
