Kern County Sheriff's

Each year the Sheriff’s Activities League has partnered with KGET-Channel 17 and Telemundo for a barbecue held in the vacant lot accross from the KGET Studio at 22nd and L Streets in Bakersfield.  The BBQ brings out many people working downtown to purchase hot dogs and hamburgers with chips and a drink for only $5.  All proceeds go to SAL youth programs in Kern County.
